Why we can't interrupt or edit sent campaigns
Unfortunately, once a campaign has been sent, it cannot be interrupted or edited, as the content has already been sent to the servers.
Why is it not possible to change the content once it has been sent?
Campaigns are processed in a cloud computing environment. Once published, due to the complexity of the infrastructure, it is not possible to access the servers to modify or cancel campaigns that have already been scheduled for sending.
What can be done to avoid errors in the future?
Before pressing the ‘Send’ button, make sure everything has been tested and reviewed. Some good practices include:
Pre-testing - Send the campaign to yourself or an internal group before the final send.
Review the content - Ask other people to check the email, making sure there are no errors.
Test the links - Make sure all the links are correct and functional.
Once the campaign has been sent, there is no possibility of cancelling or editing it, not even at database level. That's why it's essential to make sure everything is correct before publishing.
