Delete by Audience and by List

If you want to delete a large number of contacts in one go, we have a feature that allows you to do so quickly and easily.

Important note: Deleting contacts is irreversible. Make sure you want to permanently remove contacts before proceeding.

**Recommendation: **If you need a backup, export the contact list before deletion. See our guide ‘How to export contacts’.

Delete by Audience

The first step to deleting a large number of contacts in one go is to create an audience and include all the contacts you want to delete.

Once you have created an audience, go to Audiences and select "Edit" in the audience you want.

On the same page, next to Contacts, select the option Actions » Delete all.

Delete by List

To delete by List, you need to know which contacts you want to delete, i.e. when you create a new Filter, you have to look for the filter where you can find the contacts you want to delete.

Click on "Contacts" » "List" » "New Filter" » Select the Filter where the contacts to be deleted are located » Select the Contacts » “Actions” » "Remove Selected".

Click on "Contacts" and select "List".

Create a "New Filter" and search for the Filter containing the contacts you want to delete.

Select the contacts you want to delete or "Select All" if they are all the contacts in the filter.

To finalise, click on "Actions" and then "Remove Selected".
