# Integration and Automations with Shopify

### 
This part of the process happens on the Shopify side: you'll create an app in Shopify Partners to get the Client ID and Client Secret that Closum asks for during the connection.




### Step 6
Log in to your Shopify account and go to the developer area. Click **Create app**.

### Step 7
Enter a name for the app — any name works — then click **Create**.

### Step 8
Configure the app's scopes (permissions). Select all available scopes.

### Step 9
Click **Release** to apply the scope settings.

### Step 10
Enter a version name for the app (the default is `v.1`), then click **Release** again.

### Step 11
Once the app has been released, open its **Settings**.

### Step 12
Copy the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** shown on the Settings screen.

### Step 13
Confirm that the app is installed in your Shopify store: go to the app's **Home** tab and click **Install app**.
